rubik’s…

They say Life is like a Rubik’s Cube, there are innumerable wrong twists and turns… but when you get it right, it looks perfect no matter which side you look at…

Brief Background: A Rubik’s Cube has nine square facelets on each side, giving fifty-four facelets in total, and occupies a volume of twenty-seven unit cubes. Typically, the faces of the cube are covered by nine stickers in six solid colours; there is one colour for each side of the the cube. When the puzzle is solved, each side of the cube is a solid colour. The cube celebrated its twenty-fifth anniversary in 2005, when a special edition cube in a presentation box was released, featuring a sticker in the centre of the white face (which was replaced with a reflective surface) with a “Rubik’s Cube 1980-2005″ logo.Reference: www.wikipedia.org

I have been busy on trying to find out how to solve the Rubik’s cube… but I end up only solving the base layer…

Here are some pictures:

I have solved all the colors but I cant solve the whole puzzle… =(I can’t continue to the first layer and I don’t know why…Maybe I m just stuck on the things I know… I m afraid in moving forward and disarrange what I have solved, afraid of discovering new things, afraid to take chances and afraid of encountering another wrong twists and turns–failure.

I should and I must learn how to face failure because from there I can be a better person, enough to make me survive in the future or maybe now… on the present. In conquering any fear, in crossing any line and in choosing to walk in a road less traveled by, we can see a perfect view where in we can feel fulfilled and contented.

Maybe I just need someone to show me how to be brave… how to solve things and then eventually learn it more by myself… Someone who will not get tired and pissed off… Someone who will compliment with me… I believe everybody needs someone whom they can share things, rely on each other and just live with the company of each other. I know it’s a cliché but that’s the way it is.

Duds, my classmate promised to teach me how to solve the whole Rubik’s cube; I said he needs a lot of patience and patience and patience… (Did I just say the word patience 3 times? =D) We will have a tutorial on May 25, 2007. I hope I’ll learn how to solve it. I think it’s nerdy BUT cool. What do you think?

After solving the Rubik’s cube, I hope, eventually I can be brave enough to face failures in life.

Excess: I got my grades today… I m satisfied with it, my hard work paid off (did I work hard anyway? lol.)
