Chowking’s Halo-Halo Experience

MANILA, Philippines–The rainy season has officially started this week, according to the weather bureau.

The wet season usually begins on the fourth week of May but with La Niña conditions persisting in the country, the start of the rainy season came a week early, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

Cold weather doesn’t stop me from enjoying a yummy serving of Halo-Halo.

Presenting….

Aling Meli’s Halo-Halo!

OoOopPsSss…

CHOWKING’S HALO-HALO!!!

Yummy!!!!

Anyways, kidding aside…

Myroom was at Chowking Halo-Halo Experience at Global City. I was also with my Family. Though, It was a small gathering, I liked the fact that the hosts (Chowking Management) are very hands-on with their guests.

Chowking’s Halo-Halo is composed of 12 ingredients with crushed ice and milk:

-Banana

-Jackfruit

-Coconut

-Green Nata De Coco

-Garbanzos

-Red Gelatin

-Red Beans

-Ube

-Pinipig

-Leche Flan

*Can you help me with the other two? Comment me your answers. LOL!

Would you believe I was counting the ingredients while I was eating my Fiesta Halo-Halo at the event? Sadly, I wasn’t able to count it all…LOL! (I really need to blog about this, they served me with one brain-freezing Halo-Halo. LOL!)

They have presented the Halo-Halo creatively, with the colors and all. It is very enticing— mouth-watering as I must say. As they claimed, they have improved the quality of their shaved ice using a one-of-a-kind machine, which I proved it’s the truth (I don’t know for other branches). It also gained 25% of their sales. I believe because Filipinos have a sweet tooth, the Philippines having a tropical weather and of course, Chowking’s delightful way of preparing the Halo-Halo.

I am always a fan of Halo-Halo, I always eat it at school during breaks whether it’s hot or not. It’s one of my comfort foods I must say. At home, when my siblings and I will crave for Halo-Halo, we’ll just walk 12 meters (I think) and then order at Chowking. Good thing, we have Chowking near us, it is very convenient, indeed. If you wanted Halo-Halo but Chowking is far from where you live, don’t worry for it can be delivered right before your doors.

Here’s the sizes with the prices you can choose from:

They also grant special request in preparing your Halo-Halo for your health needs or specifications.

Added info:

“Aling Meli” ( I don’t know if I heard it correctly) as the management of Chowking would call her, is the one providing the ingredients for Chowking’s Halo-Halo exclusively.

For Chowking delivery, you can call 702-8888 anywhere in Metro Manila
