Tips When Going Out of Town: My Style

1. Bring Cash
- Of course, you can’t travel if you don’t have the Peso or the Dollar (Whew!)…

2. Bring your camera (whether it’s a digital or camera phone)
- There are a lot of beautiful sites that you will rarely see here in the city…

3. Bring your MP3 players (ipod etc…) or load up your cellphone’s music player with songs
- This is a must especially when you are traveling at night. You tend to get scared as you get farther, it’s a feeling the you are “lost in the woods” or some sort of… Also, if you are traveling on a Sunday, most probably all radio stations play old songs which I hate (not an oldies fan) except if you happen to love or at least know those songs…

4. Bring your shades or umbrella rain or shine…
- You don’t want to look awkward and have closed eyes on pictures right? To add, you’ll never when it will rain so bring your umbrellas to still enjoy the place despite of the harsh weather.

5. Bring your jacket even though you are going to a beach or somewhere you think is hot
- Just to be ready you know and same as my reason above. You can always find ways to wear your jacket. It can be protection from cold, mosquito bites or any other insect bites and also from the sun rays ( if you use it the other way…) Just be creative you know… I never go anywhere far without my jacket.

6. Be with the company of someone you know you will enjoy the whole trip or at least be with someone you knew enough about already
- For SAFETY and for a GOOD TIME!

7. Do your Homework
- If you don’t know the idea on where to go in the place you wanted to visit, search it on the web. There are a lot of travel blogs that features about a certain place and will give you tips on how you can have a fruitful trip from the moment you enter your transportation to the moment you arrive at your destination. The great thing is that they also suggest side trips that are on the way… My mom does it in the couple of our out-of-town trips.

8. If you are “Byahilo” or has a motion sickness, drink Bonamine one hour prior to your departure or bring a “puke bag” instead
- My mom always brings a “puke bag” and lets us drink Bonamine when I was a child. Good thing, I don’t experience motion sickness.

9. Don’t wear GREEN pants
- Or else, you will play touch the color or your companions might worry that you are lost because you have the power to do camouflage. LOL!

These tips are just from my experiences. I didn’t place the other “must-haves” because it is very common and I know my readers are not in any way stupid right? LOL! Anyway, that’s all I know, I hope you learned even just a bit. LOL!
