The Chowking ChaoFan Experience

Hungry but don’t have time to eat?
In need of a full stomach but so busy rushing things?
Chowking has a solution for that…

Presenting to you…

Chowking’s new and improved CHAOFAN!

There are four variations of chaofan in which you can choose from. Pork Chaofan (my favorite ever since chaofan came in town) which cost P39 excluding drinks, dimsum, shanghai or dumpling toppings. Beef chaofan which cost P49, Yangchow chaofan which cost P79 and my newest favorite Spicy Chaofan which cost P79 though I am not really a fan of spicy foods.

As a student, I am always rushing for lunch or dinner perhaps because I have short break time and I still have a lot to do during those break times. Chowking Chaofan very appropriate for me, I actually felt it was really made for me. I can buy it for take-out and eat it right away, even while walking because it is packed in a small box (is it a box?LOL!) with a spork (a spoon and fork in one) which I really like.

I remembered one time, when I was a transient student in Bulacan last summer, food is rare in the place where we stayed, we need to go to the municipality to buy food. One thing that first struck my mind for something to eat is Chowking Chaofan, no stir! It is easy to eat— no hassles, fast food, considered one full meal, and it is a RICE enough to get me recharged. It is indeed very convenient! Chaofan literally meant fried rice. I kept the spork and bring it to our apartment for future use that time, and it was of great help because we don’t have utensils there. Quite functional huh?!

Comparing the new chaofan to the previous one, the flavors were enhanced and the price was cheaper. As far as I can remember, Pork chaofan was 42 pesos I think… (Am I right? LOL!) I am glad that the price now is cheaper and it is more suitable for students and for those who are in a tight budget. So go, grab and experience the new, improved and tasteful Chowking Chaofan!

Truly, IBA ANG KAIN PAG CHOWKING CHAOFAN! IBA ANG KAIN PAG KANIN… lol! There is no rice shortage with Chowking… =)

Because I Said So: Reaction on Communication

Having the chance to observe a woman delivering her first-born or her second, third and more, I understand why mothers feel that they own their sons and daughters in their entire life. After I have finished watching the movie, Because I Said So I really, much appreciated the kind of relationship I have with my own mother.

Iron Man Movie: My Cut

Tony Stark: I never got to say goodbye to my father. There’s questions I would’ve asked him. I would’ve asked him how he felt about what his company did, if he was conflicted, if he ever had doubts. Or maybe he was every inch of man we remember from the newsreels. I saw young Americans killed by the very weapons I created to defend them and protect them. And I saw that I had become part of a system that is comfortable with zero-accountability.
Press Reporter #1: Mr. Stark, what happened over there?
Tony Stark: I had my eyes opened. I came to realize that I had more to offer this world than just making things that blow up. And that is why, effective immediately, I am shutting down the weapons manufacturing division of Stark Industries.

Funny how a onetime, big time experience can change everything...

Veronika Decides To Die: My Review

Why do people decide to kill themselves?

Reasons can be as profound or as gibberish as they can be. For most, it is a portal of escape. Escape to their terminal illness, suffering, unrequited love, lonesome, grief, fears, and monotony.

For some, it is an “attention-seeking” strategy. (I am definitely against this one.)

DAVID COOK, Season 7′s American Idol

I woke up at 8:00AM today just to watch the Live American Idol Season 7 Finale at StarWorld.

The fact above is impossible during ordinary days.

Well, I knew it. David Cook will win.

Hyperventilating, Cold clammy palms, experiencing Tachycardia (Increased cardiac rate)… The winner was announced then poof!

American Idol Season 7, David Cook

Congratulations David Cook!!!

He won by 12 Million votes ahead of David Archuleta. He had 56% of the total votes.

One thing I learned about him was he is also left-handed like me. Lefties indeed are WINNERS!

And, I also won in our bet. LOL!

To David Archuleta, Congratulations also for making it to the Top 2.
